1. Service description
NyaySahay (“the Service”) is an AI-powered information tool about Indian law, and a directory connecting users with verified advocates. The Service does not establish an advocate-client relationship with NyaySahay itself, and does not provide legal advice. See our Disclaimer for details.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older, or have your guardian's permission, to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Submit content that is obscene, defamatory, or violates anyone's rights.
- Use the Service to impersonate a legal professional or law firm.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. Advocates must provide a valid Bar Council of India enrolment number; misrepresentation may result in account termination.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, and its content are owned by NyaySahay or its licensors. You may use AI-generated output for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not republish substantial portions of the Service without our written permission.
6. No professional relationship
Nothing on this site creates an advocate-client, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and NyaySahay or any contributor. Information may be inaccurate. Engaging an advocate through the directory creates a relationship between you and that advocate only — not with NyaySahay.
7. Third-party services
The Service may link to third-party websites, embed Google Analytics, or display ads via Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NyaySahay and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold NyaySahay harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
11. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after revisions means you accept the updated terms.
